“ Stopped off for coffee and cake on the way home from birdwatching at Parkgate. Staff were really pleasant and helpful and it turns out that the cherry scones were made on the premises. My partner assures me that his scone which he had with butter, was very good. The coffees were really good and piping hot which is how we like them. Mine was a soya latte and my only really minor criticism is that I couldn't get a plant-based cake. No matter...I can understand it's perhaps a niche market and folk need to make money. The cafe itself had a lovely, comfortable interior with modern furniture and decor. As it was sunny we sat outside and made use of the cute tables. If we were in the area we would definitely return ”
